Nestled amidst indigenous trees and chena growth along with paddy fields and lush greenery, the Aliya Resort Spa is located in the dry zone of the Central Province of Sri Lanka overlooking the historical Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Located in the heart of the cultural triangle, the Resort also offers views of the Pidurangala Rock Temple. Sigiriya is located at a distance of about 169km from Colombo while it can be reached through main roads from Colombo as well as Kandy.

Inspired by the elephant (Aliya), simplicity and luxurious surroundings the Aliya Resort Spa offers Chalet type accommodation, suites and luxury deluxe tents. The chalets boast of 4 units each which can be classified under Deluxe Rooms and Deluxe Rooms with Attic. All rooms are designed with a minimalistic concept and are spacious and comfortable without redundant decor. The tents are also luxurious and simple with all modern conveniences to make your stay exiting hidden amidst nature.

Aliya Resort Spa offers a variety of dining experiences to guests. 'Alaka' restaurant serves authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, showcasing the country's best flavors. 'Nagula' provides a unique dining experience on the verandah of the Paddy Museum, where Sri Lankan cuisine is prepared in traditional clay pots and served in a rustic ambiance filled with century-old paddy cultivating artifacts. For authentic Chinese cuisine, 'Makara' is adorned with mythical golden dragons.
